After a short sightseeing tour in Lausanne, which takes its visitors into the depths of history with its medieval castles, D'Ouchy Castle, palaces, cathedrals and museum buildings, and whose attractiveness increases exponentially thanks to its location on the shores of Lake Geneva, we visit Montreux. Montreux, which we know very well from our national history, is an important city for the world of music as well as its castles, historical buildings and natural beauties. The song called Smoke on the Water, which left its mark on an era, tells about a casino fire in Montreux, and there is also a statue of Freddy Mercury, who continued his work here in the last period of his life. After breakfast at our hotel, we will have free time for a full day. If our guests wish, we depart for the Alsace Wonders Colmar & Strasbourg Tour (100 Euros), which will be organized optionally by our guide. First, we will go to the fairy-tale city of Colmar and see the Old Customs House, the Pfister House and the colorful houses around the Rhine River, as well as the city's most famous district, Petite Venise (Little Venice). In the unique environment surrounded by the Rhine River and its canals, you will find many delicious foods to suit your taste and the opportunity to buy many souvenirs. The next stop of our trip is the Alsace region, surrounded by vineyards, famous for its flowered balconies, unique rows of shops, car-free paved roads, buildings that somehow survived World War II unscathed, and cute cafes. Riquewihr, which is reminiscent of Grimm fairy tales, with its tower containing the Dolder Museum, which carries the story of the city to the present day with its documents. Riquewhir, the most visited village of the Alsace region, is the pearl of the region with its population of approximately 1100 people and the vineyards surrounding it. Riquewhir, where the harvest festivals that start every year in mid-September increase its charm, has typical German architecture, half-timbered pastel-toned houses decorated with flowers, around the "Grand Rue", a cobbled main street that slopes gently upwards from the entrance gate of the city. After completing our trip here, we move to Strasbourg. We are in the second most important city of the European Union after Brussels. It is very rich in history and culture; The city of Gutenberg's Rouget de Lisle, the Dutch philosopher Erasmus and the German writer Goethe. Strasbourg's historical city center is in the "Grande Ile" region, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Notre Dame Cathedral and most of the other places we will see during the city tour are on an island surrounded by a river. In the southwest of this island is La Petite France, the most beautiful and interesting district of Strasbourg. This is a region where rivers meet and are arranged and full of historical houses and museums from the Renaissance period. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and then free time.
