Start

Izmir - Samarkand

We meet at the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport International Terminal at the specified meeting time in the evening. Then, we complete our check-in and baggage procedures. We take a direct flight with Sun Express Airlines and arrive at Samarkand International Airport local time. We take our luggage, complete our passport and customs procedures, get on our waiting bus and go to our hotel.

Samarkand

After breakfast at our hotel; We start our trip to Samarkand, the Pearl of the Silk Road, where scholars, armies, religions and cultures come together. Our first stop; We go to Registan Square, which means sandy place in Persian, known as the center of trade, history and cultural education, and where the Madrasahs are located. We listen to the information in the square where Ulugh Beg, Şirdar and Tilla Kari Madrasahs are located. After our free time in the historical atmosphere of the square, which attracts the attention and culture of not only Samarkand but also the entire Central Asia, our next stop is Siyob Market. We take a break here to buy souvenirs and have lunch freely. After our break, we go to see the largest mosque in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. This mosque, built by Timur in the name of Bibi Hanım as a celebration after the Indian Expedition, is among the most impressive architectures with its magnificence. Bibi Hanim Mosque; It is decorated with rich tile decorations, calligraphy and stone carvings. Blue and turquoise tiles were widely used on the interior and exterior of the mosque, and Arabic calligraphy, especially quotes from the Quran, are located in various parts of the building. The historical building, which is a frequent destination for tourists and researchers, has been restored and continues to welcome visitors, even though it has suffered earthquakes and major damage. After our guide's explanations, we go to visit the Shah-ı Zinde (Living King) Tombs Complex, which means the Living King. By seeing the complex where the graves of important figures and scholars are located, we go to visit and get information about the Observatory built by Ulugh Beg, who served as a scientist, astronomer and administrator during the Timur period, between 1424-1429. We go to our local restaurant to get our dinner while listening to the explanations in the building with a huge sextant (angular measuring device). We taste shashlik kebab on 6-meter skewers and a wide variety of local delicacies, which are brought to our guests in a ceremony accompanied by music and dances. After a pleasant dinner, we go to Registan Square again. We watch the glorious history of the Timurid Empire with the fascinating 3D show projected on the gold-embroidered dome and unique tiles of the Tilla Kari Madrasa, whose dazzling architecture takes on a completely different atmosphere at night. After the night we will spend in this show, called the Golden Night of Samarkand, we check into our hotel.

Samarkand - Bukhara

After breakfast at our hotel, our first stop will be towards Konigil village. We will have the opportunity to observe the paper production process together and experience its production in this village, which has served only in paper production for centuries. After watching and getting information from the workshop attendant and our guide on how mulberry tree barks are turned into paper, we return to the center of Samarkand. Here, we go to the Gür Emir Tomb, which is on the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List, where the resting place of Tamerlane (Timur-i Leng), the founder of the Timurid Empire, who has been remembered throughout history as both a military genius and a ruthless conqueror, is located. The tomb, which means Tomb of the Emir and which Timur had built for his grandson Muhammad Sultan during his lifetime, continued to be used as a family cemetery. Designed with Timurid period and Islamic architecture, the interior of the Tomb is decorated with blue and gold mosaics and detailed pen and tile decorations are used on the ceilings. After listening to our guide's explanations, we have free time in the city center. Those who wish can do shopping with their relatives and have a pleasant time in traditional cafes. After meeting our guide again, we go to the restaurant where we made our reservations and have our dinner. Afterwards, we transfer to the famous Afrosiyob High Speed ​​Train Station and go to Bukhara, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and one of the important stops of the Silk Road, by High Speed ​​Train. After a 1.5-hour High Speed ​​Train journey, we go to our hotel.

Bukhara

On our first morning in Bukhara, we have breakfast at the hotel and start touring the city of Bukhara, which dates back to the 6th century BC and became an important commercial city during Alexander the Great's Asian campaign, making significant contributions to Islamic Civilization and famous for its handmade carpets, silk fabrics and embroideries. Our first stop is the Tomb of Ismail Samani, whose construction was completed in approximately 905, was built by the ruler of the period, Ismail Samani (Amir Ismail bin Ahmed), for his father and family, and was later used as the family cemetery of the Samani dynasty. After listening to our guide's relevant explanations, our next place to visit, which is not common in the region in terms of Bukhara architecture, is the Prophet Muhammad, which is also mentioned in the Holy Quran. We visit the Çeşme-i Eyüp Maqam, which is known as the place where Prophet Job struck the ground with his staff and water came out, and where the sacred spring water still flows. After our tour, we get back in our vehicle and go to Bolo Havuz Mosque, which was built in 1712 and is called the 40-column mosque, as its 20 finely carved wooden columns are reflected in the pool in front of it. After visiting this building, which still actively serves for worship, we go to the Ark Castle and Complex, which welcomes us with its giant and magnificent structure and is located in the center. It was built on an artificial hill raised above the ground; We tour many parts of it, such as the palace, administrative buildings, harem, treasuries, military areas, official invitation halls, whose outer walls are built with thick adobe and brick, accompanied by the explanations of our guide. According to legend, the building was shaped like a palace built by the hero Siyavuş "by drawing a border from a bull's skin", and is approximately 3.9-4 hectares in size; We tour this magnificent building, whose wall height is up to 16-20 meters. After our tour, we continue our walking tour by visiting the Kalyan Minaret (Po-i Kalan) and Mir Arab Madrasa, which are approximately 46 meters high and 9 meters in diameter, which were completed in 1127. After listening to the striking stories about Genghis Khan from our guide, we go to Taki Zargaron, historically known as the Goldsmiths' Dome, where traditional shops are located. After visiting the shops where gold-silver jewellery, souvenirs, local craft products for children are sold, where hard bargaining still maintains its traditional style, we go to Taki Telpakfuruşon Market, which was built in 1570-71 and is known as the place where traditional hats and headgear are sold, where you can see souvenirs, shawls, fabrics and similar handicrafts. After the necessary explanations, in addition to being a Zoroastrian temple (dedicated to the Moon God) in pre-Islamic times, it is associated with the purifying symbol of sacred fire and scent in the Zoroastrian religion, where priests prepared incense and perfume; We listen to our guide's explanations in front of Magoki Attari Mosque, known as a center where aromatic substances used in rituals are sold. 6.–8. This building, which became the intersection of cultures and religions on the Silk Road between the centuries, was used as a place of worship for Buddhist and Manichean societies for a while, and became a strong Islamic center during the Samanid period. Then, we move on to the Leb-i Havuz Complex, which is known as the complex of inns and madrasahs that shape social life, and where there is the statue of Nasreddin Hodja, who has an important place in Turkish and Middle Eastern folk tales and whose fame spread all over the world. After the information and guidance of our guide, we give you free time for lunch here. At the end of the free time where we can shop and taste local delicacies, we meet again, take our places in our vehicle, see the Çor Minor Madrasa, which was built in 1807 by the rich Bukhara Turkmen merchant Khalif Niyaz kul, listen to our guide's explanations, then complete our trip and settle in our hotel. After settling into our rooms and resting, we meet our guide in the hotel lobby to go to the restaurant where we made reservations for dinner. After a pleasant dinner, we return to our hotel. Itinerary

Bukhara - Tashkent

On our second morning in Bukhara, we have breakfast at the hotel, check out our rooms, take our places in our vehicle and go to visit the Sitorai-Mokhi Khosa Palace, the summer palace of the emir of Bukhara, located approximately 5 km north of the center, before heading to the capital Tashkent. Architecturally, both Western (European/Russian) influences and traditional Central Asian decoration elements come together. For example, there are Russian architectural lines on the exterior, and "ganch" plasterwork and mirror-decorations specific to Bukhara in the interior. After visiting the White Hall, the Harem Section, the Garden section and other rooms, which attract attention with their mirror-covered walls, fine workmanship details and rich decor style, we return to the center of Bukhara to visit the tombs of Bahaeddin Naqshbandi and his mother. After this enjoyable time in Bukhara, we transfer to the Train Station to take our seats on the Afrosiyob high-speed train that will depart for Tashkent. After our trip with our world-famous high-speed train, we arrive in the capital Tashkent and go to our restaurant to have our dinner. After a pleasant dinner, we settle into our hotel.

Itinerary

Tashkent

After our breakfast, we start our Tashkent City tour. We start visiting the Hazrat Imam Complex, which includes Barak Khan Madrasa, Keffal Shashi Tomb, Tila Sheikh Mosque and Hast'i Imam Mosque. Hz. We carry out our trip by listening to information from our guide about the famous buildings with their architectural structure and tiled domes, where we can see the Holy Quran, which is said to have been read by Osman at the time of his martyrdom and written in Kufic script in the 7th century. We go to Emir Timur Square, seeing the Emir Timur Museum, which has a white structure that has become the symbol of the capital and more than 5000 works similar to the blue dome of Gur-i Emir in Samarkand. After seeing Independence Square, accompanied by our guide's explanations, we go to Chorsu Bazaar, where traditional foods, spices, fabrics and handicraft products are abundant. After the free time we will give in this market, which is located in the old city, is a large and colorful market, reflecting a 2000-year-old commercial tradition with its name meaning "four roads", we meet again with our guide and move on to experience the famous Historical Tashkent Metro, which attracts attention with its architecture and artistic design, and each station has different themes and decorations. At the end of our thematic metro experience, which was opened in 1977 and is one of the first metro systems in Central Asia, with 50 stations, we take our seats in our vehicles and transfer to the Train Station to take our seats on the Afrosiyob high-speed train that will depart for Samarkand. After a quick trip of approximately 1.5 hours, we crown our dinner in the city, the pearl of the Silk Road, where our reservations were made and which we discovered by visiting in the first days, with a musical entertainment program accompanied by traditional Uzbek dances in our restaurant. Later in the evening, we transfer to the airport to take our seats on the plane that will take us back to Izmir and complete our customs procedures beforehand.

After our arrival at the airport, we complete our passport and customs procedures and take our seats on the Sun Express Airlines plane that will take us to Adnan Menderes Airport. After our arrival in the morning local time, we say goodbye to be together again in another tour program.

FOOD CULTURE
*Uzbekistan cuisine; It stands out with its traditional flavors, mostly meat and pastries, shaped by the influence of the Silk Road culture. Rice, lamb, vegetables and spices form the basis of the cuisine; Meals are generally filling and sharing-oriented. Plov (Pilaf), Manti, Lagman and Samsa are among the most well-known dishes of Uzbek cuisine.

ACCOMODATION
*Fair, congress, concert, event, sports tournament, etc. During such periods, hotels can be used at distances greater than the specified km.  

*Rooms for 3 people can be provided depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed offered for the 3rd person in such rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of so-called open-close beds and coach beds, the participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the type of bed and congestion that may be experienced in the rooms for third-person and/or child reservations.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS
*We recommend that you buy t-shirts, short and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a thin coat and a thin sweater for the evenings that can be easily worn and removed during the summer season. Apart from this; We recommend that you bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers, and spare memory cards and chargers. During Autumn and Winter, we recommend clothes that allow you to move comfortably and keep you warm, an umbrella and a thin raincoat.

Since it is a group reservation, you can have your luggage and customs procedures done at the specified time and counter with just your passport, even without a ticket. Our check-in procedures are carried out by our agency.

*During registration, the name, date of birth, passport and identification number in the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. The no-show fee for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be reflected to the guests.

*Our agency is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to payments made to hotels and airline companies in cases where you are late for the flight or cannot attend the flight due to your own reasons.

*Our agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and private flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. There may be changes in the routes depending on the city where the plane will land. All times must be confirmed 48 hours before departure dates.  Our agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. HEALTH
*We do not think that you will encounter any problems that will threaten your health when eating at the good restaurants and hotels of the region. However, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking when you are not with the group, consume strictly bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are cooked well, and eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples.

We strongly recommend that you obtain reports and invoices from the health units where you will receive your treatment in case of health problems or injuries that may occur due to reasons beyond your control. It will be useful if you need it for insurance-related transactions.
