IMPORTANT WARNING FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18
1. You can find the documents that must be brought for guests under the age of 18 and information on this subject below.
One needs to be very careful about this. It is not possible to board the plane with missing documents.
In accordance with the changes made in the relevant laws, effective as of June 1, 2015, a birth certificate is required from all visitors under the age of 18. T.R. For citizens, the Population Registration Sample obtained from the Civil Registry Office will replace the birth certificate after having it translated by a sworn translator.
NEW IMMIGRATION REGULATION
1. Children traveling with their parents
What you need:
(i) Parents are obliged to present birth certificates proving that they are the parents of the child/children they are traveling with.
(ii) For adopted children, parents are obliged to submit the adoption certificate proving that they are adopted.
Explanatory note:
This will apply to both South African citizens and other foreigners upon departure and arrival.
For passengers entering/exiting from countries that do not issue birth certificates, a document that replaces the birth certificate obtained from a competent authority must be presented. All documents submitted must be originals or copies certified by a notary or equivalent authority.
2. Children traveling with only one parent
What you need:
(i) Parents are obliged to present birth certificates proving that they are the parents of the child/children they are traveling with.
(ii) A sworn consent from the other non-traveling parent listed on the birth certificate must be submitted stating that the child may enter and/or exit South Africa with the other parent.
(iii) A court order transferring all parental rights and responsibilities or legal custody must be filed, or
(iv) In case of death of one of the parents recorded on the birth certificate, the death certificate of the deceased parent must be produced.
(v) In cases where the non-traveling parent does not give consent, legally divorced couples are also required to produce a court order.
In cases where both parents are deceased and the child is traveling with a relative or another adult relative of the child, the person accompanying the child must certify to the General Directorate that he or she has entered or left the Republic of South Africa with the child.
Explanatory note:
The date of consent can be at most 3 months before the travel date.
3. Children traveling with adults who are not biological parents
What you need:
(i) The adult must produce a copy of the child's birth certificate.
(ii) The consent of the child's parents or legal guardian that the relevant person can travel with the child must be submitted.
(iii) Copies of identity documents or passports of the child's parents or legal guardians
(iv) Contact information of the child's parents or legal guardian must be submitted.
In cases where both parents are deceased and the child is traveling with a relative or another adult relative of the parent, the person accompanying the child must certify to the Border Police that he or she has entered or left the Republic of South Africa with the child.
4. Children not traveling with any adult
What you need:
(i) In order for persons under the age of 18 to travel in and out of South Africa, parents or their sole or legal heirs must provide a letter or statement.
(ii) If one of the parents submits this document, they must also submit the court decision showing that they have full guardianship rights.
(iii) A letter must be submitted containing the residential address and contact information of the place where the child will stay in South Africa and the adult who will meet the child.
(iv) The identity card or valid passport and copy of the visa or permanent residence permit of the person who will pick up the child in South Africa must be presented.
(v) Contact information for the child's parents or legal guardian must be submitted.
5. Children in special care as defined in the Children's Act 2005
What you need:
Before leaving the Republic of South Africa, a certified copy of the permit obtained from the Provincial Directorate of Social Services where the child resides must be presented as provided for in Section 169 of the Children's Act.

In short, there is a limit of 1 piece of luggage and 20 kg per person.
To summarize the rules: 2 suitcases weighing 10 kilos are considered overweight.
Having 1 piece of luggage weighing 30 kilos for 2 people is also considered overweight.
PARTICIPATION CONDITION
This trip is organized with the requirement of participation of at least 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the deadline for cancellation is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to lack of participation will be notified to you through your agency.

HEALTH
There is no vaccination requirement for Turkish citizens when entering South Africa. We recommend that you do not drink tap water during the trip and only consume bottled water that will be opened by you for the first time.

OPTIONAL TOURS & EVENTS
Optional tours and events are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with the participation of at least 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If sufficient numbers are not provided, excursions cannot be made or optional tour / activity prices, content, and vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and hours of optional tours / activities can be changed by the guide depending on the open / closed status of the museum, historical site or place in the destination and weather conditions.
ACCOMODATION
Fair, congress, concert, event, sports tournament, etc. During such periods, hotels can be used at distances greater than the specified km.
Rooms for 3 people can be provided depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed offered for the 3rd person in these types of rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of so-called open-close beds and coach beds, the participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the type of bed and congestion that may be experienced in the rooms for third-person and/or child reservations.
Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and meeting the age group specified in the pricing section.
Among the services included in the tour program, breakfasts taken at the hotel are offered with a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally called a continental breakfast, and can be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.
CURRENCY
The currency of South Africa is the South African Rand (ZAR). You can take both currencies with you, but the USD must be printed in 2000 or later. Otherwise, exchange offices want to exchange money at a lower rate.

It is 1 hour behind Turkey. While it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 11.00 in South Africa.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS
We recommend that you take clothes that are suitable for seasonal temperatures (coats, sweaters, etc.) that you can easily put on and take off.

In South Africa, where the world's largest gold mines are located and the country that produces the most gold, the first product that comes to mind for shopping is jewelry. You can find very beautiful and specially designed jewelry in jewelry stores. You can also buy sculptures made by local people, carved wooden products, handcrafted leather materials and glass products made by glass-making masters in the markets.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Having a valid passport and/or having a visa (for the destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that you can enter the country. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation, the responsibility belongs to the passenger.
The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and private flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between the ages of 0-2 do not pay area tax and area services fees.
Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of maximum 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and panoramic with narration from the in-car guide, and do not include entrances to museums and ruins. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not carried out due to local authorities not allowing to be visited or entered at the day and time of the tour, or roads being closed due to any event, or in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the agency is not responsible for the tours in question not being held. Some tours can be done by public transport or on foot, if possible, on closed roads or at points where vehicle entry is not allowed.
