Day1
Start

Istanbul - Cape Town

We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After ticket and baggage procedures, we depart for Cape Town with a Turkish Airlines plane. Upon our arrival, we start our panoramic Cape Town city tour by getting into our private vehicle waiting for us. During our city tour, we will see the harmony of past and modern life in the City Center, where the heart of the city beats, and we will feel both the traces of history and the lively spirit of the city in the Malay Quarter (Bo-Kaap), which stands out with its colorful houses and cultural texture. Then, Company Gardens, one of the most beautiful spots in the city with its peaceful atmosphere surrounded by lush green trees, will welcome us. With its historical buildings, pleasant walking paths and elegant landscaping, this area is also an important center that sheds light on the colonial period of the city. During our panoramic tour, you will learn about the city's architecture, lively streets and lifestyle in touch with nature; We will have the opportunity to experience closely why Cape Town is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel. After settling into our rooms, our guests can have free time to explore the surroundings or relax.

Itinerary

Cape Town

After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will take our Cape of Good Hope tour with lunch. You will pass through Bantry Bay, Camps Bay and Llandudno Regions and arrive at the fishing town of Hout Bay. We board a local boat and head towards Duiker Island to see the famous Cape Fur Seal from the boat. After this 45-minute tour, we will spend some time at the local craft market and fish market. Then we pass through Constantia Neck and Ou Kaapse Weg and arrive at False Bay. We see the picturesque town of Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay and reach the town of Simons Town, the main naval base of South Africa. Here we see a colony of African Penguins in Hout Bay. After a short journey, we arrive at the Cape of Good Hope, where two oceans meet, and spend the rest of the afternoon here. After our tour, return to the hotel and stay overnight at our hotel.

Cape Town - Zimbabwe

After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will transfer to Cape Town airport by car. After our passport and baggage procedures, we will take our flight Cape Town - Zimbabwe (VFA-LVI). After our arrival, we will be transferred to our Zimbabwe hotel. After a short break, we set out towards the magnificent Zambezi River, which forms the natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, accompanied by the fascinating atmosphere of Africa. Here, during our pleasant boat tour on the calm waters of the river, we will discover the fascinating beauties of nature and have the opportunity to observe the birds and wildlife we ​​may encounter along the way. Sunset, one of the most magical moments of the day, will accompany our journey with a picturesque beauty; The sky, taking on thousands of shades of red and orange on the horizon, will be reflected in the waters of the Zambezi, presenting an unforgettable view. At the end of our tour, we will be transferred to our Zimbabwe hotel. (The flight may be connecting depending on date and availability)

Itinerary

Victoria Falls

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we set out to explore Victoria Falls, which is located on the Zambezi River and forms the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The waterfalls, which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List and one of the most famous natural wonders of Africa, are considered to be the largest curtain waterfall in the world with a width of approximately 1.7 km and a height of 108 meters. We will have the opportunity to watch this magnificent natural phenomenon from different points by walking on the walking trails of the waterfall throughout the day. The rainbows formed by the water vapor rising from the waterfall will present the most impressive shots of the day. During the tour, detailed information about the waterfalls will be obtained and photo breaks will be given at the panoramic viewing terraces. In the afternoon, you will be given free time for shopping and observing the natural life in the region. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase local handcrafted products and souvenirs. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel and rest. Overnight at our hotel.

Itinerary

Zimbabwe - Botswana - Zimbabwe

After having breakfast at our hotel early in the morning, we leave our hotel and set off. After a land journey that will take about one and a half hours, we reach the Botswana border. After completing the passport and border procedures, we first go to our hotel and settle into our rooms. After a short rest, we start our land safari in Chobe National Park by driving with 4x4 off-road vehicles. We will have a pleasant safari experience by observing wild animals living freely in their natural environments. Then, we have lunch by the river and continue our program, this time with a river safari. During the safari, we will have the opportunity to closely see and photograph many creatures unique to the region, such as elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. At the end of the day, we complete our tour and move back to our Zimbabwe hotel. Overnight at our Zimbabwe hotel.

Zimbabwe - Johannesburg

After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will transfer to the airport to fly to Johannesburg. After our baggage and passport procedures, we will take our flight. Upon our arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel. Afterwards we will have free time. Overnight will be at our hotel in Johannesburg.

Johannesburg - Istanbul

After having breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will take our Johannesburg City tour. On our tour we will see the highlights of Johannesburg such as Houghton, Rosebank, Sandton, Westcliff views, Mary Fitzgerald Square and Newtown areas. After our tour, we will transfer to Johannesburg Airport. After our passport and ticket procedures, we will fly to Istanbul with a scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines. Overnight on the plane.

IMPORTANT WARNING FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18

 

1.            You can find the documents that must be brought for guests under the age of 18 and information on this subject below.

One needs to be very careful about this. It is not possible to board the plane with missing documents.

 

In accordance with the changes made in the relevant laws, effective as of June 1, 2015, a birth certificate is required from all visitors under the age of 18. T.R. For citizens, the Population Registration Sample obtained from the Civil Registry Office will replace the birth certificate after having it translated by a sworn translator.

 

NEW IMMIGRATION REGULATION

1.            Children traveling with their parents

What you need:

 

(i)           Parents are obliged to present birth certificates proving that they are the parents of the child/children they are traveling with.

(ii)          For adopted children, parents are obliged to submit the adoption certificate proving that they are adopted.

 

Explanatory note:

This will apply to both South African citizens and other foreigners upon departure and arrival.

For passengers entering/exiting from countries that do not issue birth certificates, a document that replaces the birth certificate obtained from a competent authority must be presented. All documents submitted must be originals or copies certified by a notary or equivalent authority.

2.            Children traveling with only one parent

What you need:

 

(i)           Parents are obliged to present birth certificates proving that they are the parents of the child/children they are traveling with.

(ii)          A sworn consent from the other non-traveling parent listed on the birth certificate must be submitted stating that the child may enter and/or exit South Africa with the other parent.

(iii)         A court order transferring all parental rights and responsibilities or legal custody must be filed, or

(iv)         In case of death of one of the parents recorded on the birth certificate, the death certificate of the deceased parent must be produced.

(v)          In cases where the non-traveling parent does not give consent, legally divorced couples are also required to produce a court order.

 

In cases where both parents are deceased and the child is traveling with a relative or another adult relative of the child, the person accompanying the child must certify to the General Directorate that he or she has entered or left the Republic of South Africa with the child.

Explanatory note:

The date of consent can be at most 3 months before the travel date.

3.            Children traveling with adults who are not biological parents

What you need:

(i)           The adult must produce a copy of the child's birth certificate.

(ii)          The consent of the child's parents or legal guardian that the relevant person can travel with the child must be submitted.

(iii)         Copies of identity documents or passports of the child's parents or legal guardians

(iv)         Contact information of the child's parents or legal guardian must be submitted.

 

 

In cases where both parents are deceased and the child is traveling with a relative or another adult relative of the parent, the person accompanying the child must certify to the Border Police that he or she has entered or left the Republic of South Africa with the child.

4.            Children not traveling with any adult

 

What you need:

(i)           In order for persons under the age of 18 to travel in and out of South Africa, parents or their sole or legal heirs must provide a letter or statement.

(ii)          If one of the parents submits this document, they must also submit the court decision showing that they have full guardianship rights.

(iii)         A letter must be submitted containing the residential address and contact information of the place where the child will stay in South Africa and the adult who will meet the child.

(iv)         The identity card or valid passport and copy of the visa or permanent residence permit of the person who will pick up the child in South Africa must be presented.

(v)          Contact information for the child's parents or legal guardian must be submitted.

 

5.            Children in special care as defined in the Children's Act 2005

What you need:

  Before leaving the Republic of South Africa, a certified copy of the permit obtained from the Provincial Directorate of Social Services where the child resides must be presented as provided for in Section 169 of the Children's Act.

 

ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS THAT CAN PASS THROUGH CUSTOMS

•             200 cigarettes and 20 cigarettes per person

•             250g of cigarette or pipe tobacco per person

•             50ml perfume and 250ml eau de toilette per person

•             2 liters of wine per person

2.            You can find the weight restrictions on domestic flights below.

In short, there is a limit of 1 piece of luggage and 20 kg per person.

To summarize the rules: 2 suitcases weighing 10 kilos are considered overweight.

Having 1 piece of luggage weighing 30 kilos for 2 people is also considered overweight.

PARTICIPATION CONDITION

This trip is organized with the requirement of participation of at least 20 people.  If sufficient participation is not achieved, the deadline for cancellation is 20 days before the start of the tour. The tour canceled due to lack of participation will be notified to you through your agency.

HEALTH

There is no vaccination requirement for Turkish citizens when entering South Africa. We recommend that you do not drink tap water during the trip and only consume bottled water that will be opened by you for the first time.

Optional tours and events are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with the participation of at least 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If sufficient numbers are not provided, excursions cannot be made or optional tour / activity prices, content, and vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and hours of optional tours / activities can be changed by the guide depending on the open / closed status of the museum, historical site or place in the destination and weather conditions.

ACCOMODATION

Fair, congress, concert, event, sports tournament, etc. During such periods, hotels can be used at distances greater than the specified km.  

Rooms for 3 people can be provided depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed offered for the 3rd person in these types of rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of so-called open-close beds and coach beds, the participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the type of bed and congestion that may be experienced in the rooms for third-person and/or child reservations.  

Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and meeting the age group specified in the pricing section.  

Among the services included in the tour program, breakfasts taken at the hotel are offered with a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally called a continental breakfast, and can be served for groups in a separate hall allocated to the group.

CURRENCY

The currency of South Africa is the South African Rand (ZAR). You can take both currencies with you, but the USD must be printed in 2000 or later. Otherwise, exchange offices want to exchange money at a lower rate.

TIME ZONE

It is 1 hour behind Turkey. While it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 11.00 in South Africa.

CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS

FOOD CULTURE

In South Africa, they have created a mixed culinary culture for themselves, generally inspired by Malaysian and European cuisine. Fresh vegetables and fruits are never missing from their tables.

SHOPPING

In South Africa, where the world's largest gold mines are located and the country that produces the most gold, the first product that comes to mind for shopping is jewelry. You can find very beautiful and specially designed jewelry in jewelry stores. You can also buy sculptures made by local people, carved wooden products, handcrafted leather materials and glass products made by glass-making masters in the markets.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Having a valid passport and/or having a visa (for the destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that you can enter the country. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. The agency is not responsible for this situation, the responsibility belongs to the passenger.    

The agency is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and private flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. The agency is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between the ages of 0-2 do not pay area tax and area services fees.  

Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of maximum 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and panoramic with narration from the in-car guide, and do not include entrances to museums and ruins. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not carried out due to local authorities not allowing to be visited or entered at the day and time of the tour, or roads being closed due to any event, or in cases where the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, the agency is not responsible for the tours in question not being held. Some tours can be done by public transport or on foot, if possible, on closed roads or at points where vehicle entry is not allowed.
