You must have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the end date of travel and not older than 10 years.In destinations that require a visa, the visa application must be made with the documents specified in the "Required Documents for Visa" list that your agency will forward to you. In order to avoid problems with the customs police at the border gate of the country to be visited due to torn, worn, wet and/or similarly damaged passports; renewal of the mentioned passports and T.R. If it is a country that requires visas for its citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport. Otherwise, the responsibility belongs to the passenger. Since our guests under the age of 18 are traveling alone or with only one of their parents, the police officer on duty at the country entrance and exit may ask for a document showing the joint consent of the parents; We recommend that our guests under the age of 18 and their parents be sensitive about this issue.
HEALTH
We do not think that you will encounter any problems that will threaten your health when eating at the good restaurants and hotels of the region. However, we recommend that you be careful about eating and drinking when you are not with the group, consume strictly bottled water, avoid ice, milk and dairy products, consume meat and fish products that you are sure are cooked well, and eat fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and pineapples. Current vaccination/PCR rules must be followed when entering the country and returning home.
OPTIONAL TOURS & ACTIVITIES
Optional tours and activities are organized by the local agency from which we receive service, with the participation of at least 20 people, and there is no obligation to participate. If sufficient numbers are not provided, excursions cannot be made or optional tour / activity prices, content, and vehicle to be used may vary depending on the number of participants. In addition, the days and hours of extra tours / activities can be changed by the guide depending on the open / closed status of the museum, historical site or place in the destination and weather conditions.
ACCOMODATION
Fair, congress, concert, event, sports tournament, etc. During such periods, hotels can be used at distances greater than the specified km. Rooms for 3 people can be provided depending on the availability of the hotels, and the bed offered for the 3rd person in these types of rooms may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds consist of so-called open-close beds and coach beds, the participant is deemed to have declared that they accept the type of bed and congestion that may be experienced in the rooms for third-person and/or child reservations. Child discounts are valid for one (1) child staying with 2 adults and meeting the age group specified in the pricing section. Breakfasts taken at the hotel, among the services included in the tour program, are offered with a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country and generally called a continental breakfast, and can be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
CURRENCY
The currency of Indonesia (IDR) is Indonesian Rupiah.
It is useful to have US Dollars (USD) with you.
TIME ZONE
There is a + hour difference between Indonesia and Türkiye. While it is 12.00 in Turkey, it is 16.00 in all three countries.
PHONE USE
All mobile phone operators can be used if your phone is open to international roaming. However, there may be no network in some parts of the country.
CLOTHING AND REQUIRED ITEMS
We recommend that you take t-shirts that you can easily put on and take off, short and long-sleeved shirts, shorts and cotton trousers, comfortable walking shoes, a thin coat for the evenings, and swimsuits. Apart from this, you can also bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, a camera, a video camera and their chargers and spare memory cards. When entering Buddhist temples in the country, wearing shorts, skirts, clothes that leave the shoulders exposed, and clothes that hug the body should be avoided. We recommend women to take a thin shawl or scarf with them. In addition, since shoes and socks are removed when entering such structures, we recommend that you use shoes and sandals that can be easily put on and taken off.
FOOD CULTURE
The country has its own cuisine consisting of spicy dishes. However, you can still find restaurants serving world cuisine in the hotels where we will stay.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Having a valid passport and/or having a visa (for the destination/passport requiring a visa) does not mean that you can enter the country. The passport police have the authority to refuse you entry into the country. Papua is not responsible for this situation, the responsibility belongs to the passenger. Papua is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and private flights, or times may change before the current trip and flight. Papua is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. Our passengers purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change. Children between the ages of 0-2 do not pay the field tax or field services fee. Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours of maximum 2-3 hours, organized for the general introduction of the cities and panoramic with narration from the inside of the vehicle, and do not include entrances to museums and historical sites. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are not carried out due to local authorities not allowing to be visited or entered at the day and time of the tour, or roads being closed due to any event, or if the tour becomes impossible due to weather conditions, Papua is not responsible for the said tours not being held. Some tours can be done by public transport or on foot, if possible, on closed roads or at points where vehicle entry is not allowed.
